Today I have received my official travel papers, i.e. passport, and I have a greenlight to venture off into the wide world. I am looking forward to the adventure, and yet, at the same time I long for my native Santa Fe. Such is life, I have found: full of competing interests and paradoxical yearnings. Its a small world; and yet distance makes the heart grow fonder. Well, may the road rise up to greet you on your travels. But before I do set off, I will fill in some of the backstory of my early days here in Santa Fe - look for new posts and history coming soon.
